Rather than a complete re-do this kitchen was given a cost effective make-over. A new laminate top , period hardware, with sink&taps replaced the old. Black & white ceramic backsplash gives a striking appearance similar to homes of the 1940′s. A 3 stage crown mould and painted pine wainscott were added to complement the 12 x12 ceramic tile floor. A simple clean and elegant alternative to the “search and destroy” approach.
